INCOLOY alloy 27-7MO is an advanced super-austenitic stainless steel containing 7% molybdenum, providing enhanced corrosion resistance in various environments including reducing media, pitting, crevice, acids, stress cracking, and caustic corrosion. This alloy effectively resists corrosion by sea water and chemicals in pulp, paper, oil, and gas industries.

Machining & Fabrication
Machinability: Similar to other austenitic alloys, best machined under annealed conditions.
Welding: Compatible with gas metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, shielded arc welding, plasma arc welding and submerged metal arc welding using INCONEL alloy filler metals.
Forming: Suitable for hot or cold working conditions.
Hot Working: Temperature range: 980-1150°C (1800-2100°F).
Cold Working: Cold rolling possible after annealing.
Annealing: Recommended temperature: 1121-1175°C (2050-2150°F).
