1.4541+AT Tube Plate Stainless Steel 321
Thickness: 40 mm | Diameter: 3790 mm with Holes
Grade 321 / 321H Stainless Steel Sheet Overview
321 stainless steel is a titanium-stabilized grade specifically designed for service in the 1000-1600°F temperature range. For optimal performance up to 1600°F, a stabilizing treatment at 1550-1650°F with air cooling provides maximum resistance to intergranular corrosion and polythionic acid stress corrosion cracking.
This grade offers excellent weldability using all common methods, including submerged arc welding. Recommended weld fillers include AWS ER347 bare wire and E347 covered electrodes. With a machinability rating of 45% relative to AISI B1112, 321 stainless steel performs similarly to 304 stainless steel in machining operations.
