1.4547 (254 SMO) / S31254 Hot Rolled Plate
Alloy 254 SMO is a premium super austenitic stainless steel plate with enhanced molybdenum and nitrogen content. This low-carbon alloy delivers exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, stress cracking, and corrosion fatigue, while offering nearly double the strength of standard 300 series stainless steels.

Alloy 254 SMO combines high ductility and impact strength with superior corrosion resistance. Its high chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen content make it ideal for challenging environments containing chlorides, including seawater, brackish water, and various industrial process streams.
