Corrosion Resistance
  • Excellent corrosion resistance in various environments
  • High chromium content provides superior aqueous corrosion resistance
  • Excellent performance at normal temperatures with good resistance to oxidizing and carburizing atmospheres
Heat Resistance
  • Good oxidation resistance in intermittent service up to 1040°C and continuous service up to 1150°C
  • Excellent resistance to thermal fatigue and cyclic heating
  • Ideal for applications involving sulphur dioxide gas at elevated temperatures
  • Recommended for use above 800-900°C, beyond the effective range of 304H and 321 grades
  • Continuous use in 425-860°C range not recommended due to carbide precipitation when aqueous corrosion resistance is required
