Material Description
317L Stainless Steel is an austenitic molybdenum, chromium, nickel stainless alloy with enhanced resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking in chloride or halide-rich environments. With higher molybdenum content than 316L and 304L, it offers superior creep, stress-to-rupture, and tensile strength, making it ideal for demanding applications in offshore, pulp & paper mills, and chemical processing plants.
