Product Description
Hastelloy-X (ALLOY-X) Tube (UNS NO. N06002) - Ø 25.4mm x 1.24mm x 1000mm
Hastelloy X is one of the most widely used nickel-based alloys, renowned for its exceptional resistance to oxidation and high-temperature strength. Known commercially as Alloy "X", this material is extensively employed in gas turbine engine components, furnace applications, and combustion zone sections including tailpipes, cabin heaters, and heat-treating equipment.
The alloy's superior resistance to stress-corrosion cracking and carburization makes it ideal for petrochemical processing equipment. Hastelloy X demonstrates excellent formability and weldability characteristics, and can be effectively forged and cold worked due to its remarkable ductility.
Key Material Properties
  • Exceptional oxidation resistance at high temperatures
  • Superior high-temperature strength
  • Excellent resistance to stress-corrosion cracking
  • Outstanding carburization resistance
  • Excellent formability and weldability
  • Good forgeability and cold work capability
  • Available in solution heat-treated condition (2150°F with rapid cooling)
Available Forms
Hastelloy X is available in pipe, plate, sheet, tubing, and round bar configurations.
