Product Description
253MA/UNS S30815 Stainless Steel Pipes
UNS S30815 253MA stainless steel pipes combine excellent high-temperature service properties with ease of fabrication. This grade resists oxidation at temperatures up to 1150°C and provides superior performance to Grade 310 in carbon, nitrogen, and sulphur-containing atmospheres.
253MA contains relatively low nickel content, offering advantages in reducing sulphide atmospheres compared to high nickel alloys and Grade 310. The inclusion of high silicon, nitrogen, and cerium contents provides excellent oxide stability, high elevated temperature strength, and superior resistance to sigma phase precipitation. The austenitic structure ensures excellent toughness, even at cryogenic temperatures.
