Product Overview

S32652 (UNS 654SMO) Super Austenitic Stainless Steel pipe 1.4652 / X1CrNiMOCUN24-22-8 is manufactured to ASTM A312 and ASTM A269 standards. This super austenitic stainless steel contains 23% nickel, 25% chromium and 7% molybdenum, offering superior corrosion resistance compared to standard austenitic steels.

Material Characteristics

654SMo (S32654, 1.4652) super austenitic stainless steel features high molybdenum content, making it exceptionally resistant to pitting corrosion and stress corrosion cracking in seawater, aeration, gaps, and low-speed erosion conditions. It serves as an effective alternative to nickel-based alloys and titanium alloys, outperforming 904L and 254SMO in high temperature and corrosion resistance applications.
