310S Stainless Steel Seamless Pipe
310S Stainless Steel Seamless Pipe Cold Rolled and Polished for High Temperature Applications 0
310, 310S and 310H stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel specifically designed for high temperature applications. With excellent performance in temperatures up to 2,100°F in continuous service, this grade contains 25% chromium and 20% nickel, providing exceptional resistance to oxidation and corrosion.
310S stainless steel is the lower carbon version of 310 plate, making it less prone to embrittlement and sensitization during service. 310H stainless steel plate serves as the high carbon variant. These grades are widely used in moderately carburizing atmospheres, particularly in petrochemical environments. While not recommended for frequent liquid quenching due to thermal shock susceptibility, they excel in cryogenic applications thanks to their toughness and low magnetic permeability.
