304 BA Stainless Steel Sheet English Introduction

1. Product Overview

304 BA stainless steel sheet is a kind of bright annealed austenitic stainless steel plate (UNS S30400). BA stands for Bright Annealed, which is produced by cold rolling followed by bright heat treatment in protective atmosphere. The surface is smooth, silver-bright, with good flatness, less oxide scale compared with 2B finish. It can be easily further polished to mirror finish. This grade is the classic 18-8 stainless steel, compliant with ASTM A240, EN 10088, GB/T 3280 standards. Available in sheet, coil, cut plate form. We can provide MTR 3.1 test certificate for all batches.

• Carbon (C): ≤0.08
• Silicon (Si): ≤1.00
• Manganese (Mn): ≤2.00
• Phosphorus (P): ≤0.045
• Sulfur (S): ≤0.030
• Chromium (Cr): 18.00 ~ 20.00
• Nickel (Ni): 8.00 ~ 10.50
• Iron (Fe): Balance

3. Mechanical Properties (Annealed State, Room Temperature)

• Ultimate Tensile Strength: ≥515 MPa
• 0.2% Yield Strength: ≥205 MPa
• Elongation: ≥40%
• Hardness: ≤201 HB / ≤92 HRB
• Density: 7.93 g/cm³

Note: Good ductility, suitable for deep drawing, bending, stamping and other forming processes.
