Product Overview
Grade 321 stainless steel is a titanium-stabilized austenitic stainless steel designed for service in the 1000-1600°F temperature range. This grade offers excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion and polythionic acid stress corrosion cracking, making it ideal for high-temperature applications.
The material is readily weldable by all common methods including submerged arc welding, with appropriate weld fillers being AWS ER347 bare wire and E347 covered electrodes. It features a machinability rating of 45% relative to AISI B1112.
