Material Overview
654SMO (S32654, 1.4652) super austenitic stainless steel contains 23% nickel, 25% chromium and 7% molybdenum, offering significantly better corrosion resistance than standard austenitic steels. This advanced material serves as a cost-effective alternative to nickel-based alloys and titanium alloys.
Manufacturing Excellence
The high molybdenum content presents manufacturing challenges during seamless pipe perforation. Our specialized center perforation process followed by cold rolling or cold drawing ensures high success rates and dimensional accuracy despite the material's hardness and stickiness.

  • Comprehensive mechanical properties testing including tension, flaring, flange, hardness, and reversed flattening tests
  • 100% hydrostatic testing or non-destructive testing (ET or UT)
  • Radiographic testing for welded pipes
  • Optional tests: Straightness, roughness, intergranular corrosion, impact, and grain size determinations
All test and inspection results are documented in comprehensive reports according to standard specifications and customer requirements.
Packaging & Delivery
Available in bare packing, bundle packing with woven bags, wooden or steel frame crate packing. Plastic cap protection at both tube ends with suitable protection for sea-worthy delivery or as requested.
