DIN 1.2787, AISI 431 ESR Stainless Steel Round Bars specifically engineered for glass mold manufacturing. Available in prehardened or soft annealed states with rough peeled surface finish.

Advanced Generation for Glass Molds

431 modified represents a special improved grade derived from 1.4057. ESR 431 premium quality delivers extended mold life through its extra fine microstructure.

Material Characteristics

AISI 431 is a high chromium-low nickel martensitic stainless steel with exceptional hardenability, offering high strength combined with good corrosion resistance. Typically supplied hardened and tempered in the tensile range 850-1000 MPa (Brinell 248-302).
