654SMO (S32654, 1.4652) is a super austenitic stainless steel containing 23% nickel, 25% chromium, and 7% molybdenum, offering significantly superior corrosion resistance compared to standard austenitic steels. This advanced material serves as a cost-effective alternative to nickel-based alloys and titanium alloys.
Due to its high molybdenum content, 654SMO presents challenges in seamless pipe perforation with risks of eccentricity or cracking. Our specialized center perforation process followed by cold rolling or cold drawing ensures high success rates and dimensional accuracy.
