The S31803 grade has been refined into UNS S32205, offering superior corrosion resistance. This grade should not be used at temperatures above 300°C due to brittle precipitation or below -50°C due to ductile-to-brittle transition.

Duplex 2205 (UNS S32205) is nitrogen-enhanced stainless steel chosen for its exceptional corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength, outperforming most austenitic stainless steels. Key benefits include:
